Just when we all thought that we could not take another hot day in the 100s, the weather turns to what makes PebbleCreek one of the most desirable places to retire in Arizona. That also means that the Garden Club of PebbleCreek is back!
Our members have been very busy this summer planning this year’s events filled with guest speakers, field trips, plant sales, and other exciting activities.
We welcome all members interested in participating in this active group of members learning how to navigate the desert environment of Arizona. When the great outdoors is just too big to manage or we long to garden in the winter, we can tell you how. You just need to learn, try, fail, and try again. With trial and error, everyone can have a successful garden. Just ask some of our successful members!
The purpose of this club is to encourage home and community gardening, to cultivate the spirit of gardening, and to stimulate interest in the preservation, conservation, and beautification of PebbleCreek. We do expect every member to participate and take an active role. Gardening is a community event, and to be a successful club, it takes a village.
If we piqued your interest, please join us on the second Tuesday of each month from October through May in the Palm Room at Eagle’s Nest from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Our next meeting is Tuesday, Dec. 13.
Already booked on second Tuesdays from 1 to 2:30? You can still join the club and have access to gardening information and join in on field trips and events. Ask us how.
Come join us and be a part of this fun and exciting group!
Stay tuned for our first plant sale coming in March at the parking lot event (more to come).
