Do you miss hearing the folk music of the 60s and 70s? Does hearing a few bars of Blowin’ in the Wind bring back fond memories of your youth? Would you like to enjoy a concert of folk music, right here in PebbleCreek, without having to purchase tickets or stand in line?
Come to the 2016 Folk Festival! This free folk concert will take place November 13 at 4:00 p.m. on the Eagle’s Nest Patio and Dining Room. The Desert Rovers and Friends will entertain you with the music of our youth.
The Desert Rovers, made up of Mike Caswell, Carl Halladay, Dave Silverstein and Holly Carrier, along with John Flynn, Bob Hover and two winners of PebbleCreek Has Talent, Jeff Harrison and Joe Armbruster, have planned a fun afternoon of the music we all remember.
Food and Beverage will offer hamburgers, hot dogs and pulled pork sandwiches, chips and soft drinks, beginning at 3:00 p.m. Prices range from $4 to $7 and food will be available until 5:00 p.m. The Eagle’s Nest Lounge will also be open during this time. Please plan to pay for food with cash as the food cart cannot process credit cards.
Because seating is somewhat limited, please bring lawn chairs if you have them. This year we will not be able to sit on the grass, but we can use the dining room for seating.
Warm up those vocal chords and get ready to sing along! We are looking forward to entertaining you and leading you on a walk down memory lane!
