The PebbleCreek Democratic Club has committed to assist in maintaining the PebbleCreek Armed Forces Plaza. This idea was initiated with the HOA by veteran and Democratic Club member Pat Chernow, and the project has been approved as a club activity by the Democratic Club Board of Directors.
The PebbleCreek Armed Forces Plaza was dedicated to honor all who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces on May 15, 2010. The Plaza consists of pavers, many of which bear the names of and are dedicated to former servicemembers. The Plaza also features seating with engraved seat caps, a water feature, service flags, and Old Glory.
The PebbleCreek Democratic Club has committed to assist in keeping this memorial well maintained and a fitting tribute to America’s veterans. Members of the Democratic Club will regularly clean the pavers and seat caps, remove unserviceable miniature flags, ensure all landscape lighting is operable and directed appropriately, and generally ensure it is aesthetically pleasing for visitors.
The Armed Forces Plaza is located directly west of the Eagle’s Nest Clubhouse, just off the main parking area. We encourage all residents to visit.
If you are interested in dedicating a paver to a servicemember, there are applications to make that request in a permanent box located where you enter the plaza.
