PebbleCreek Community Church Seeks Secretary

PebbleCreek Community Church (PCCC) is initiating a search for church Secretary. This is a paid, part-time position reporting to the Pastor and Elder Board. The role served by our Secretary is critical to the life of our congregation. Our hope is that this position will be filled by someone within our community.

For more than 15 years, this role has been faithfully served by a member of our church who will be leaving the position later this year. Our plan is that she will be available to assist her replacement in an orderly transition of records and responsibilities.

Proficiency in clerical, communication, and organizational skills are prerequisites. In addition to recordkeeping and other activities common to the position, our Secretary works closely with Pastor Bob Ripley and the committees of our church, and is responsible for regular communications, mostly via email, to our congregation. She/he also collects information for and prints our Sunday bulletins. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other software utilized by our church is required. Our Secretary is also responsible for monitoring and uploading current information to our website using basic Microsoft formatted tools. Training and technical support will be provided for the website.

While membership in our church, and regular attendance at worship services, is not a prerequisite for the position, an understanding of and agreement with our Statement of Faith contained in our Constitution is a requirement.
