PebbleCreek Community Church has had the privilege of serving our PebbleCreek community since 1995, but, in all that time, we have not had a permanent office or other facility where the pastor might provide Christian-based support and where private meetings might be held. We are pleased to announce that our church has now secured a space in Robson Reserve to help serve these needs. Pastor Bob Ripley’s new office is located in Suite 224 on the second floor, across from the elevator.
Our Sunday worship services and times of fellowship in the Eagle’s Nest Ballroom have always provided a place for congregation members, regular attenders, and visitors to gather, but other opportunities to meet in private and secure the assistance normally acquainted with religious institutions have been lacking. More and more, we find that Pastor Bob, a PebbleCreek resident, is called upon to provide assistance with needs beyond those of our congregation, including with life-altering and life-ending challenges throughout our community. In the past, he has held private meetings in his home and in our clubhouses, but the need for a more appropriate setting has been apparent.
While our 15 Bible study groups, seven committees, and three boards will continue most often to meet in private homes (and more recently on Zoom), as they have in the past, the opening of this office gives Pastor, and his visitors, much needed privacy. The suite will include the Pastor’s study and personal meeting space, along with a larger area for training sessions and committee meetings around a nice conference table. Furnishings are a work in progress; please understand as these new accommodations come together!
Pastor Bob intends to establish regular hours in the new office, but he will also continue to meet in the homes of our congregation and others when asked. Thus, he asks that appointments be set by calling his phone at 207-907-0535, or on our website at www.churchpcc.org. Thank you to our HOA and to Robson Reserve for helping with our search for this appropriate facility, which will enable us to better meet the needs of our entire community. Please check out our new office, and consider joining us for regular worship services on Sundays in Eagle’s Nest Ballroom at 9 a.m., always followed by a time to meet in fellowship.
