The PebbleCreek Car Club enjoyed a very festive holiday party to kick off the season on Dec. 6. Members enjoyed the 32-inch pizza from Gus’s New York Pizza & Bar, a salad bar, and a very tasty cookie challenge that had to be voted upon fairly by sampling each entry. Next, followed a white elephant gift exchange, leaving gifts being stolen and admired and envied—or not!
The best part of the evening was being able to contribute toys for the toy drive assisting the Goodyear firemen in their effort to give to those children who would otherwise not have Christmas gifts. On Dec. 14, several members participated in the Litchfield Park parade, driving dignitaries in their ’52 Chevy, ’68 GTO, ’04 BMW, ’08 Corvette, and ’06 Solstice.
This promises to be a very good 2020 for this club. Many interesting speakers are lined up for the general meetings which are held the first Monday of each month. Several drives are planned to get the favorite cars out on the road, culminating with interesting tours and lunch. Anyone who has an interest in cars is welcome to join us. Meetings are held the first Monday of the month in the Capri Room, Tuscany Falls meeting rooms at 7 p.m. For additional information, contact Charlie Miller, president, at 623-734-6011.
