Here we go again! The advent of the 2021-22 season of bocce ball is here. Are you game? You don’t know how to begin? Register at quickscores.com/pebblecreekbocce between Aug. 1 and Sept. 1. Novices can proceed to YouTube for videos on how to play bocce. But, that’s on a lawn! We have bocce ball courts at Eagle’s Nest. With this in mind, you are invited to orientation. Our illustrious leader, Tom Bose, and staff will introduce you to bocce with verbal and physical demonstrations at the courts on Thursday, Sept. 9 at 9 a.m.
How do the teams form? Can I join a team? You are invited to join any existing team or form your own team with members who sign up. You may also sign up as individuals or couples, and you will be placed on a team.
The leagues are casual on Wednesday and Friday mornings and Tuesday evenings. Thursday evenings will be split between casual and challenging, but the best part is the comradery! Oops! One too many C’s!
Please don’t forget the really important part, the entertainment! Yes! The highlight of competition is the friendships created, the high fives and the headshaking, the good days and the days you will not remember tomorrow.
