Although the PebbleCreek Art Club is not meeting during the summer months, members are staying active with a variety of classes and activities. A creative doodling class, taught by Diana Horton-Smith, produced the intricate works by participants. This is just one of many classes and workshops offered by the club. On June 9, members traveled to Wickenburg to enjoy the Cowgirl Up art exhibit, which included oils, watercolors, and acrylics by female Western artists. The outing also included lunch in Wickenburg.
On June 25, a special election was called to elect the new vice president of education-instructors. Shohreh Wolfe was nominated and unanimously elected. Congratulations to Shohreh.
The monthly Art Club luncheon was held July 9 at Eagle’s Nest, with 16 people in attendance. This was the second luncheon since restrictions were lifted, and they will continue monthly throughout the year.
