One of the objectives of the PC Art Club is to provide novice and experienced artists the ability to grow and improve their artistic talents by offering a wide array of classes. From oil to watercolor, pastels to acrylics, colored pencil, pen and ink, mixed media and even jewelry design, the PCAC’s desire is to inspire those who wish to expand their art and creative avenues.

The 2019 class schedule offers an exciting and stimulating collection of classes for all artist levels. The first classes begin January 2, with instructor Suz Galloway teaching Contemporary American Botanicals. David Flitner returns on January 10 to teach “Landscape Painting—Drama In Engaging Colors” and PC resident Peter Jeziorski will help you “Develop your own Style in Watercolor” beginning January 16. In February, art club member Jack Hampton will teach a three-day Drawing/painting intensive workshop and on January 8 and February 5 Bonnie Kitchens will again work her magic in mixed media. February and March will bring back Suz Galloway and Peter Jeziorski inspiring watercolorists to venture beyond their abilities. All in all 2019 proves to be an exhilarating year of exploring creativity.

Remember, open studios are still going strong on Thursday and Friday afternoons from 1:00-4:00 p.m., “Oil painting for anyone” classes are given by Fred Alves on Tuesdays from 1:00-4:00 p.m. and “Interactive Art for all” instruction is provided by John Balogh on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m.-noon, October through May.

Information on all classes is available through the PCAC website: www.pcac.clubexpress.com.

Come, enjoy, be inspired; you can’t be bored living in PebbleCreek.
