It’s new! It’s fun! It’s a great day for mingling with friends and neighbors. It’s a wonderful way to spend a Saturday. The PebbleCreek 2016 Creative Arts Festival kicks off at 8:00 a.m. on the morning of November 12 in front of the Creative Arts Center. The weather should be perfect. The opportunities to browse, shop and buy will be unbeatable.
After a year’s hiatus, this year’s Festival Committee members are eager to debut their revitalized event. For most committee members, this is their first festival. Their enthusiasm and hard work means new vendors have joined some ever-popular returning familiar faces. Kare Bears will, as always, get your day started with baked goods and coffee. Food and Beverage will provide lunch and refreshments. There will be live entertainment (in addition to whatever goes on between you and the vendors). The Model Railroad Club is planning a special exhibition. The raffle will showcase PebbleCreek artists’ and artisans’ donations that are well worthy of your support. (Raffle prizes will be available for preview in one of the Creative Arts Center’s exhibition cases.) As always, there’s something for everybody.
If you haven’t already circled November 12 on your calendar, plan to attend. The Expressions Gallery and the Gallery overflow tents will be filled with items created by PebbleCreek residents. At reasonable prices, the one-of-a-kind creations offered for sale through the Expressions Gallery make unique and memorable acquisitions, whether for gifts or for that special place in your home.
Other PebbleCreek resident artists and artisans will be exhibiting their work for sale in separate booths. You’ll recognize old acquaintances, as well as browse offerings from residents who have joined the community or become active in the Creative Arts in the two years since the last festival.
As always, residents from throughout the valley and other parts of the west round out the group of very talented individuals offering you, the discriminating shopper, the opportunity to own one-of-a-kind items created by the artist or artisan who offers them for sale. The PebbleCreek Creative Arts Festival is the only area event of its type where the primary criterion for vendor participation is that no items offered for sale are factory or mass-produced.
So, join the fun! Browse awhile. Talk with the artists and artisans. Find that special something that has had your name on it since it was created. You’ll never see it in someone else’s home, or worn by anyone else. If it’s a gift, you can be just as sure it reflects the time, attention and care you took selecting it.
That’s Saturday, November 12 (rain date Sunday, November 13) from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., in front of the PebbleCreek Creative Arts Center, Tuscany Falls. Join your friends and fellow shoppers from PebbleCreek and surrounding communities for a very special event – the PebbleCreek 2016 Creative Arts Festival! Let the browsing commence! Let the holiday shopping begin!
