The 27th PebbleCreek Senior Softball Association (PCSSA) season is scheduled to start on Saturday, Oct. 23 and continue through the end of March 2022. Opening day will feature the playing of the National Anthem by members of PCSSA, along with the first pitch being thrown by a distinguished guest. We will also be unveiling all-new, ADA-compliant bleacher seating, new patio tables and seats, along with all-new player benches.
With the tremendous growth this year, we will have two playing divisions, the American League playing on Wednesdays and Saturdays and the National League playing predominately on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We also have five new team sponsors, including Argent Solar, Karen Reuland Realty, Estrella Parkway Medical Center Pain Killers, Pure Patio, and Roy Johnson Realty.
American League teams and managers will be Augie’s (Terry Ranta); AZ Ortho (Rich Karp); Donna Strand Realty (Randy Netherda); Edward Jones (Scott Flynn); MaryAnn Evans Realty (Dan Rea); PebbleCreek Air Conditioning (John Spencer); Spooner’s Physical Therapy (Gary Jensen); and Woodbury Financial (Paul Zuckerbrow). Teams and managers for the National League include Argent Solar (Ed Schneider); Estrella Parkway Medical Center Pain Killers (Scott Beseda); Karen Rueland Realty (Bobby Freiberg); Pure Patio (Marty Aalto); and Roy Johnson Realty (Rob Schwartz); Anasazi Pools (Fred Dresser); Mary Couzens Realty (Bill Arsenault); Osborne Jewelers (Hugh Ferretti); Palm Valley Oral Surgery (Mike & Cynthia Schwartz); Southwest Golf (Rich Christiansen); and West Valley Golf (Al Chandler). Monte Page and Scott Beseda will serve as commissioners of the American and National Leagues, respectively.
It will be a record-breaking year, and we hope all PebbleCreek residents can come out and watch a game or two this season. Play ball!
