On Thursday, April 4, the PebbleCreek Men’s Golf Association held a fundraising tournament with proceeds going to the Kare Bears organization. The event was so successful that the PCMGA presented a check for $2,000 to the Kare Bears team. This was the second consecutive year that we have been able to donate this amount.
A total of 48 four-man teams competed in this form-your-own team event which was played using both courses at Tuscany Falls. The format was a scramble with a three-drive minimum for each player. There were four flights that competed from the blue/white combo tees. Flights 1 and 3 played the West course and Flights 2 and 4 played the East course. Prizes were awarded in each flight.
In addition to the competition awards, Gerry Kurtz was the winner of the 50/50 drawing and ten other lucky players won door prizes (golf bag, clubs, balls, shirts etc.).
