The PebbleCreek Men’s Golf Association annually conducts a two-man scramble event which serves a dual purpose. It is a regular men’s day tourney, but six teams also qualify to enter the Arizona Golf Association’s Club Team Championship. The tourney was played on Thursday, September 1 at Tuscany Falls (Palms/Lakes Course).
The senior qualifying teams (age 70-plus) advance to the Regionals held at Arrowhead Country Club on November 28. The other qualifying teams have a choice for the Regionals to play at either Wigwam Country Club (November 8) or Arrowhead Country Club (November 28). The finals will be played at Moon Valley Country Club on December 12. PebbleCreek has a great reputation in this AGA event as our own team of John Krasnan and Rich Jesko has won the senior division the last two years.
In the qualifier the First Flight played from the blue tees and the Senior Flight played from the white tees. This was a form-your-own team event which required the two players to have no more than a 10 stroke handicap difference. A total of 40 teams participated.
