On Tuesday, January 26, 56 PCM9GA members and their guests went on the so well received and highly touted Verde Canyon Luxury Railroad Tour which was the encore off-campus non-golfing event of our group on the heels of the highly successful Turf Paradise event held last year.
A chartered bus transported our members and guests to the Clarksdale Arizona Verde Canyon Railroad tour location and from there the group boarded the train which truly turned out to include incredibly luxurious gourmet food and beverages and accommodations as they viewed some of the most incredible scenery anywhere in Arizona or elsewhere.
To top off a truly most memorable tour, the group all dined on the way back at the famed Rock Springs Café in Black Canyon City.
No event that comes off as superb as this Verde Canyon Railroad affair happens by accident and tremendous credit is given to both Don Drummond and Randy Prinz for their efforts in making this affair most memorable. Likewise, much praise is in order for the current PCM9GA Board and committee members which have made an already outstanding PCM9GA group more than a tad better.
Our PCM9GA accelerated growth rate continues and our membership role at last count at 335 members. Our PCM9GA highly encourages prospective new members to join our fun loving group which welcomes golfers at all skill levels. The annual $50 cost includes dues for the AGA membership which is essential for handicap reporting.
