As warmer weather arrived, the 9 Holers moved to morning tee times for those braving the summer Arizona temperatures. This month’s team events included the four man scramble and the four man best ball cha cha cha tournament. Individual competition included low gross and low net, in addition to weekly closest to the pin on all par 3s and long putt on the last hole. Results are highlighted below.
In June, the group will feature an odd even tournament, two-man low net shamble, along with its individual competitions and regular stroke play.
Looking to join? The organization works hard to assure new members are welcomed into the group and have an enjoyable experience. Leading the new member experience are Bruce Hulbert and Allen Hatfield. They, or their ambassadors, greet the new members on their first event for a brief review of the organization, provide PCM9GA name tags, a gift, and review the website tools.
If you would like to join, pick up an application at either Pro Shop, complete the form, and leave it along with a check ($70 for yearly dues plus a $5 one-time hole-in-one insurance) with the Pro Shop. Bruce will take it from there. Allen and Bruce can be contacted by email for additional questions at [email protected] or [email protected].
Looking forward to playing with you, “hit em” long and straight!
