Following the golfing activities, 94 members and wives and invited guests attended the Gala Holiday Banquet at Tuscany Ballroom and dined to a truly exceptional Italian buffet that included cheese tortellini with shrimp, garlic bread, classic lasagna, and chocolate dipped biscotti cookies. John Craven, PCM9GA President, and Ray Clements, Director of Golf, welcomed all guests and extended overwhelming appreciation to PCM9GA board members and other key event contributors for a truly exceptional 2025 event schedule, which many believe was the best PCM9GA event year ever.
A number of PCM9GA members and others are to be commended for making this year–end event so well received which included board members John Craven, Ray Clements, Kerry Walsh, Donna Craven for facilitating the banquet guest check-in, and also Kathy Worwa for providing phenomenal decorated sugar cookies with a holiday greeting message from the PCM9GA. Lastly Arnold Hickey from PHX Pro Realty most generously provided two bottles of wine for each table.
Our 2026 PCM9GA events are off to a great start with our annual Club Championship Tournaments on Feb. 12 and 19, followed by the major PCM9GA Member-Guest Charity event for Luke AFB Spouses Club which is expected, as in the previous year, to raise more than $10,000 for this most worthy cause.
Our PCM9GA group, founded in 2005 and now in its 21st year of operation, has experienced exponential growth in recent months. We highly encourage prospective new PCM9GA members in our exceptional, fun-loving, low-key group of golfers to contact our membership chairman, Dusty Howard at 805-218-6461.
