PCM9GA Member Guest Tournament – All Flight Winners

On a superb February 25 Thursday afternoon, a total of 124 highly charged golfers participated in our second annual Member Guest Tournament utilizing our Tuscany Lakes and Palms Courses. This year’s event was even more exciting and fun than our inaugural Member Guest event and tremendous praise is in order to Pat Moore, our tournament chairman, as well as Ray Clements, PCM9GA President and likewise Dave Eckert our golfing director for a truly awesome job.
All 124 tournament participants, convening at our Tuscany Falls Clubhouse at 7:00 a.m. for registration, were each given a gift bag containing a drink coupon, a special PCM9GA golf towel and three golf balls as well as the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets. Additionally each team member was allowed to purchase a total of two Mulligans per team member in advance which could be used for doing over any stroke from an initial drive to the final putt. The total of 31 foursome teams was paired up into the A, B, C and D flights utilizing the two Low Net Format and net scores for each team member based upon their AGA handicap. As usual, high handicap golfers sometimes get a tremendous ego boost when they can PAR a difficult PAR 4 hole and the two or three stroke credit results in getting a virtual Eagle or hole-in-one.
As it turned out, the Flight D winning team comprised of Mike Nadon, Willie Metson, Lenny Leibowitz and Erv Stein came in with the outstanding low net of 99.

Following the event, participants enjoyed an excellent buffet lunch in the Chianti Room as Ray Clements, Pat Moore, Dave Eckert and John Ward, and our golf pros announced the tournament winners as well as a myriad of prize winners.
Our PCM9GA highly encourages prospective new members to join our fun-loving group which welcomes golfers at all skill levels. The annual $50 fee includes dues for the AGA membership which is essential for handicap reporting.
