This season’s PCM9GA Member/Guest Tournament will feature an exciting new agenda. It will take place at Tuscany Falls on February 22, 2018 and to encourage participation by even more members, it will take on a completely new and exciting twist! True to our Association’s roots this year we will be offering only nine-hole competitions based on skill and handicaps with the goal of having more fun!
Our tournament will have three Flights based upon the members’ and partners’ combined handicap. All players must have a handicap to play. Two 2-man teams will be paired to form a four-man team based on handicap. Guests who do not have a handicap must submit their five most recent scores by February 1 to our Director of Golf Dave Eckert at [email protected].
Tournament Flights will be as follows:
* Jack Nicklaus Flight will be played from the white tees on The Lakes Course.
* Arnold Palmer Flight will be played from the white tees on the Palms Course.
* Brand new this year is the Past Presidents Flight which will be played from the Forward Tees on the Falls Course and will be a Member/Member Tournament. This Flight is aimed at encouraging more of our higher handicap members to participate and enjoy the camaraderie of this event.
Prior to the Flights teeing off, we will be offering everyone putting and chipping Skills Challenges with great prizes for all winners. There will be Mulligan sales and raffles as well. Your $50 entry fee will include green fees for nine holes, the Skills Challenge, range balls, gifts and lunch. Note: Members must submit payment for both themselves and their guest!
Members are encouraged to sign up on our website as soon as possible. Our goal is to have nearly 200 participants with 64 players in each Flight. Volunteers are very welcome to help in all aspects of the event and if you know of a business who may want to sponsor a hole or contribute merchandise for recognition and to join as a guest in play, please contact the event planning staff: Pat Moore, [email protected], 503-481-1219 or Gary Lord, [email protected], 503-803-1101.
