PCLGA’S 2020 Champion Andrea Dilger!

The PCLGA’s three-day 2020 Tournament of Champions, which was postponed from March due to the COVID outbreak, is now in the history books!
The tournament was held on Nov. 3, 9, and 10. Ninety-nine ladies signed up to participate in the competition. The players had the option of playing two days (Nov. 3 and 10) or all three days. To compete for the gross overall champion, the player must play all three days. The net overall champion was determined from participants from the two-day play or the three-day play. The players received a PCLGA mask at check-in.
Day one, the weather was a perfect fall day; sunshine, no wind, beautiful. The participants teed off on the East Course from Hole 1 and Hole 10, with tee times starting at 8:30 a.m.
Day two, the players were greeted by unseasonably cold and windy weather at Eagle’s Nest. Though the temperatures were low, the spirits were high. The pin placements were challenging.
Day three, it was back to the East Course. The temps were cool but sunny.
The final four players were greeted enthusiastically by the socially-distanced and masked crowd. As Sharon Hadley, Sarah Marsh, Mary Harris, and Andrea Dilger played their way down the 18th hole, the excitement was palpable! In the end, Andrea birdied the last hole and became the PCLGA’s first member to be a four-time winner!
The overall net winner was determined by a two-hole playoff between Kathee Mealer and Nancy Moore. Congratulations to Nancy Moore for winning the Overall Net Championship!
