The PebbleCreek Ladies Golf Association (PCLGA) rolled out the red carpet for the Tournament of Champions on March 23, 24, and 30. The participants had a choice of playing two days, March 23 (West Course) and 30 (East Course), or three days, including March 24 at Eagle’s Nest. To compete for the title of Overall Gross Champion, the player had to participate all three days; the Overall Net Champion could compete two days or three days.

While the weather on March 23 was uncooperative with cold, windy, and rainy conditions, March 24 and 30 were, thankfully, pleasant.

Here’s how the tournament played out.

The 2021 Overall Gross Champion is, once again, Andrea Dilger! Andrea has won the Overall Gross title five times! The socially distanced crowd of family and friends gathered at the 18th green of the East Course to watch Ellen Enright, Sarah Marsh, Mary Harris, and Andrea Dilger play their final hole. In true Andrea style, she hit her second shot on the par 5 just behind the green, chipped on, and made a lengthy birdie putt to shoot a 67! Not to mention seven birdies too! Wow, what an amazing feat and terrific player! Congratulations, Andrea!

The 2021 Overall Net Champion is Diana Hull! In a one-hole playoff with Joanne Metivier, Diana secured the win while the crowd encouraged the players. Congratulations to Diana!

Congratulations to Ann Page for shooting 72 on March 30! What a fantastic round!
