Mark your calendars for the following PCLGA events coming in March and April.
March 20, 27 and 28, 2018: TOURNAMENT of CHAMPIONS. Co-Chairs Sheri Sears and Andrea Dilger. This annual tournament determines the overall PCLGA lowest gross and lowest net champions in the field. The tournament will be flighted by handicap and winners will be paid in each flight on low gross and low net. That means there is a chance for everyone to be a winner. So even if you don’t think you have a chance to be the overall gross or net champion, you can still make some money in your flight and enjoy three great days of golf. Be sure to sign up for this event when it’s posted on the website.
April 8, 9, and 10: MEMBER/GUEST TOURNAMENT. Co-Chairs Ellen Enright and Kathy Hubert-Wyss. What an event the PCLGA Member/Guest Tournament is going to be! The Member/Guest Committee is hard at work to make the Roundup at the PC Corral take place without a hitch. The first day includes registration, pictures, pari-mutuel wagering, skills games, raffles, dinner, and dancing. A couple of surprises could be thrown in to add to the fun. The format for the two days of golf are a Howdy Pardner Shamble on Falls/Palms, and a two-ball low net and low gross game aka How the Best Was Won on Eagle’s Nest. The six flights of golfers are named after famous cowgirls from the Old West: Calamity Jane, Annie Oakley, Belle Starr, Poker Alice, Miss Kitty, and Cattle Kate. The flight teams will be determined based on March 1 handicaps. There will be additional meals, terrific raffle prizes, and spectacular sponsorship from businesses and individuals. These three days in April will be packed with fun and friendship, so hopefully, you and your pardner are ready to dress the part, decorate your carts, and have the roundup of a lifetime with the PCLGA.
