January 23, 2018 – Cancer Awareness Tournament, Chairpersons Vicki Norrie and Corrie Copple. Vicki and Corrie are planning .ery special event which not only focuses on playing a fun round of golf but also on raising money to fight cancer. This year’s theme is Give Cancer the Boot. It will be a form your own foursome event.
As in previous years, there are several ways for PCLGA members to show their generosity. Most golf groups, and some individuals, donate baskets that are raffled off to lucky winners. You can also purchase 50/50 tickets, buy a pinwheel for the honor garden in the name of someone who has battled cancer and make additional monetary donations. All money collected is contributed to the National Foundation for Cancer Research which benefits all types of cancer.
This is a wonderful day of golf, remembrance and charity. You won’t want to miss it so sign up early.
