Here’s a teaser for some of the terrific events planned by the PCLGA for November and December. The PCLGA plays various games every Tuesday that add a fun element to the game of golf; however, there are a few tournaments coming up in the very near future that deserve special mention.
November 15 – Kickoff Tournament; Co-Chairs Linda Campbell and Pam Kale (see the article specifically on this tournament). Start the fall season out right with friends!
November 16 – Robson Challenge; Co-Chairs Emma Mosley and Judy Newell. This golf tournament is played annually with other Robson Communities. Two groups of 12 PCLGA members make up the PebbleCreek teams of Eagle’s Nest and Tuscany Falls and compete against other Robson Communities’ ladies golf teams in three handicapped flights. Following a dinner at Eagle’s Nest, the traveling trophy will be awarded to the winning community. Good Luck to both of the PebbleCreek teams.
December 6 and 7 – Red and Green Tournament; Co-Chairs Judy Layton and Maria Murray. This annual tournament is a fun way to get into the holiday spirit. The players will be placed on either the Red Team or Green Team and the two teams will compete against each other in a match play format. A luncheon will follow play on December 7, at which time the winning team will be announced. This tournament fills up quickly, so you are urged to sign up as soon as it appears on the website.
If you haven’t already decided to become a member of the PCLGA, consider doing so. You don’t want to miss out on the fun and spirit these ladies put into the game of golf.
