On December 1, 2014, nine teams representing Robson Communities met at Oakwood Golf Club for the thirteenth annual Robson Challenge. PebbleCreek sent two teams – one from Eagle’s Nest and the other from Tuscany Falls.
Representing Eagle’s Nest were Nancy Kyle – Team Captain; Judy Hauser, Carol Little, Barb Guthier, Becky Rio, Kathy Enegren, Geri McLindon, Gretchen Olberding, Bettyann Baumgartner, Tess Braden, Sue White, Pat Laatsch and Pro Ronnie Decker.
Representing Tuscany Falls were Bonnie Relic – Team Captain; Ingried Sigovich, Jean Ostroga, Marilyn Williams, Nancy Fackelmann, Carol Moore, Jane Wiederhold, Carolyn Suttles, Nancy Williams, Geanie Aldridge, Carol Kahler, Cindy Tollefson and Pro Dave Vader.
It was a beautiful day for golf and, after the last putt was holed, there was a tie for first place between Ironwood and Tuscany Falls with a score of 804. Unfortunately, Tuscany Falls lost in the tie breaker by one stroke. Our own Marilyn Williams won overall low net in the tournament with a score of 64. Other individual winners from the Tuscany Falls team were Jean Ostroga, Cindy Tollefson, Carol Moore, Carolyn Suttles and Nancy Fackelmann. Individual winners from the Eagle’s Nest team were Nancy Kyle, Carol Little, Judy Hauser, Sue White and Becky Rio.
The Oakwood Ladies Golf Association did a great job putting on the tournament. The Robson Challenge is a great way to meet people from other Robson Communities and make new friends.
