The PCLGA played a strong role in helping PebbleCreek and Jason Whitehill achieve the honor of being named Host Course of the Year by the Arizona Women’s Golf Association (AWGA). The PCLGA was instrumental in helping host the AWGA State Medallion Tournament at PebbleCreek in January 2017 with many of its members volunteering in support of the event. The PCLGA makes other contributions to the AWGA through our representative, Carolyn Suttles. And although he is not a member of the PCLGA, Lyman Gallup, a PebbleCreek resident, has also volunteered his time for the last several years as AWGA Rules Chairman and was recognized as the AWGA Volunteer of the Year.
