The third Ladies Arizona Summer Survivor International (LASSI) Tournament of 2023 was played at Copper Canyon Golf Club at Sun City Festival in Buckeye, on July 31. The weather was tolerable, and the course was in excellent shape with speedy greens.
Twelve PebbleCreek Ladies Golf Association (PCLGA) ladies participated in the tournament. Linda Sweet and Tess Braden placed 3rd in their flight, and Cindy Tollefson sunk the longest putt in the skills contest. A wonderful salad bar, rolls, and cookies were served following play.
LASSI is a great tournament to meet new friends. In the match play tournament, you are paired with players from a different flight so you can root for each other, making it way more fun.
