The Battle of the Creek is a wrap! The PebbleCreek Ladies Golf Association (PCLGA) honored Super Senior Girls (75+ years young), Senior girls (65-74), and invited the Juniors (under age 65) to join in the fun during the annual Super Senior Golf Tournament held for two days in February. The champions vied for the coveted title(s) at Eagle’s Nest on Feb. 11 and at Tuscany Falls on Feb. 15 for a two-day combined total to be reigned champions.
The first ever Battle of the Creek pitted the three groups against one another and averaged their net scores during tournament play. The Super Seniors and Seniors tied with their average net play of 152.9, but the Juniors took first place with an average net of 149.1 to gain bragging rights to the Creek Title for 2025!
The 2025 Super-Senior Gross Champion is Judy Hauser with a two-day gross score of 165 coming in one stroke under Carol Dick with a par on the final hole in stroke play. Our 2025 Super-Senior Net Champion is Patty Brown with a net score of 142.

Flight 1: Carol Dick (1st gross), Linda Nathan (2nd gross), Mary Falso (1st net), Carolyn Apodaca (2nd net)
Flight 2: Barbara Economou (1st gross), Jackie Christianson (2nd gross); Mary Pat Burson and Joanne Metivier tied for 1st net
Flight 3: Ilona Barlow (1st gross), Edwina Wood (2nd gross); Kathleen Carney and Suzan Simons tied for 1st net
The 2025 Senior Tournament Gross Champion is Ellen Enright with a gross score of 162 in the two-day stroke play event. Judy Layton was named Senior Net Champion with her combined net score of 140.

Flight 1: Nancy Moore (1st gross), Ann Page (2nd gross), Kathy Enegren (1st net), Cathryn Weaver (2nd net)
Flight 2: Kathy Smith (1st gross), Kathi Curtis (2nd gross), Kathy Ellis (1st net); Dana Becraft and Vicki Norrie tied for 2nd net
Flight 3: Peggy Steffan (1st gross), Sally Maki (2nd gross), Sharon Johnson (1st net), Pam Volm and Suzanne Eleam tied for 2nd net
Flight 4: Tricia Self (1st gross), Esther Frehner (2nd gross), Pamela Berg (1st net), Susan Harris (2nd net)
In the Junior Division, Laura Drummond was the gross winner for the third consecutive year, and Bergitta Reese was the net winner. Other Junior winners were Suzanne Kanaly and Helen Wagner (tie for 2nd gross), Mary Pinski (2nd net), and Denise Gardner (3rd net).
Following play on Feb. 15, all Super Seniors were recognized for their participation in the PCLGA, and Super Senior and Senior Tournament gross and net winners were each given $100 and a trophy in recognition of their awesome performance.
