On September 17 through 19, 2017, Ellen Enright, Carol Sanders and Carolyn Suttles of the PCLGA joined 81 participants from all across the state to play in the Arizona Women’s Golf Association (AWGA) State Amateur Seniors Championship at Rio Verde Country Club in the east side of the valley. The tournament was three consecutive days of play (54 holes in total) on the beautiful White Wing course.
The majority of the players were divided into five flights according to handicap. (There was also a Championship flight as well as a couple of flights for the “more senior” golfers.) Our own Ellen Enright had an excellent tournament, winning 1st low net and 2nd low gross in flight 1. Well done, Ellen, and thanks to all three players for representing PebbleCreek so well in the tournament.
