The PCLGA held its annual Developer’s Cup Tournament January 13 and 20. This tournament is to honor our developer, Mr. Robson.
Unfortunately, the first day was called due to inclement weather. The tournament was then declared a one day event and winners were determined by the scoring on January 20.
A delicious lunch buffet of soups and salads was held in the Eagle’s Nest Ballroom after play. A business meeting was called to order by our President Judy Newell during lunch. After the meeting the winners of each Flight were announced by Ronnie Decker: Flight 1 Barbara Patrow, Flight 2 Sharon Johnson, Flight 3 Glenda Spohr, Flight 4 Kathy Lindstrom, Flight 5 Diane Galewski, Flight 6 Pat Dematties and Flight 7 Julie Kurvers.
Receiving a standing ovation, Gretchen Olberding was named the Overall Developer’s Cup Champion with a net 62. She was presented $100 and a beautiful engraved glass vase filled with gorgeous white gladiolus.
