The PCLGA held its annual Cupid’s Divot Tournament on February 7 and 8 chaired by Karen Reuland. The theme this year was the fun of Celebrating the Dancing Queen. The format was a form your own four person team resulting in 140 couples. This year’s format was a little different with only 27 holes

Decorations were very festive for the Valentine’s Day theme and Karen graciously donated pink and white boas and tiaras for all the ladies. After all, who would want to celebrate the Dancing Queen without a boa and a tiara?

The teams played 18 holes at Eagle’s Nest on Saturday and nine holes using all three courses at Tuscany Falls on Sunday. Immediately after Sunday play there was a buffet dinner and dance in the Tuscany Falls Ballroom. Everyone brought their dancing shoes (golf or otherwise) and enjoyed the music of ABBA and other favorite tunes of the ‘70s. The music was donated by PebbleCreek’s resident deejay, Charlie Weaver.

Many thanks and a big congratulations to Karen for her creativity in hosting a successfully fun and entertaining event.
