PCL9GA Charity Tournament Raises Over $4,000 for the New Life Center

The PebbleCreek Lady Niners held their annual Charity Golf Tournament on January 15.

Sue Smith and Linda Brisnehan did a great job organizing this fun event with the theme “Share the Good Life.” Contributions from club members went to benefit the New Life Center, which provides shelter, safety, and services for those who have experienced domestic violence in our community.

The Millennium High School girl’s golf team joined the Lady Niners in nine holes of golf, dessert, and prizes in the Chianti Room. A fun bonus was that Sue Davis got to play with her granddaughter, Kaylee Bowers, from Millennium High School. Liz Zelazo from the New Life Center was there to accept the check and offer a few words about the mission of the organization.

The winners of the tournament were: Tuscany Falls East front nine – Jinny Pearson, Izzy Junio (MHS), Lynne Ackerman, and Dorothy Washer; Tuscany Falls East back nine – Nancy Huss, Patty Greene, Maddie Laux (MHS), and Pat West.
