On Jan. 31, PCL9GA members beat the winter blues by enjoying a beautiful day of golf paired with their spouses, partners, or friends during the Winter Par-Tee Golf Tournament. Members and resident guests, totaling 138 players, participated in the event, and many pairs dressed in matching colors or themes. The tournament game played was Cha-Cha-Cha on the front and back nine of Tuscany Falls East, with teams scoring one net best ball on three holes, two net best balls on three holes, and three net best balls on three holes. An additional game rewarded the foursome with the lowest score on a predetermined par 5 hole.
Co-chairs were Barb Crist and Sheryl Dobbin, who distributed a PCL9GA branded ball marker and tees to players as a participation gift. Performance and mystery prizes were awarded at the conclusion of the tournament.
PCL9GA is committed to offering its members special events like the Winter Par-Tee Golf Tournament. However, due to the coronavirus pandemic, they are not able to include the social activities that would normally follow, such as a shared meal, among participants.
