The PebbleCreek Art Club invites you to explore the world of art at its Spring Art Show (Meet the Artist) March 22 and 23, when they will introduce new and exciting additions to their annual juried event.
The PCAC is always looking for captivating ways to inspire residents and expose them to the work of amazing and talented artists living in our community. This year’s Spring Show is no exception! Live art demonstrations will provide attendees an opportunity to observe artists at work, using materials, techniques and processes to create their art.
Curtis Patching will demonstrate airbrushing, Peter Jeziorski watercolor techniques, mixed medium by Kathy Sork, Carol Burford explaining alcohol ink, Lou Stifter shows painting in oil, Marsha Lisle will be creating with watercolors and Thula Edwards will introduce clay sculpture. Observing these demonstrations will perhaps provide an interest in exploring a medium through the many PCAC classes available to residents. Demonstrations will be presented on both show dates.
Also new to this year’s Spring Show is a professional category for judging. Those artists who have extensive experience or training will compete against other artists with similar qualifications, for championship ribbons in their chosen medium.
On Friday evening the artist’s reception will serve complimentary refreshments. Guests can enjoy the refreshments while strolling through the gallery of artwork and engaging with friends. The silent auction, always a favorite of guests, will offer original and affordable art, donated by club members, for silent auction bidding. Winners will be announced Friday evening. Another popular part of the show gives attendees an opportunity to vote for their favorite art entry in hopes their selection will be awarded the People’s Choice ribbon.

Friday, March 22 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. for the 2019 PebbleCreek Art Club’s Spring Art Show. Artist reception Friday evening, serving complimentary refreshments. The show will continue on Saturday, March 23 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Art will be available for sale on both days, Visa, MasterCard, Discover cards, checks and cash accepted.
The event will be at the Tuscany Falls Creative Arts Building.
