Snowfall in the Rockies has been less than normal this season but nine PebbleCreek skiers enjoyed a great ski trip with Valley of the Sun Ski Club to Steamboat Springs, Colorado, February 8 through 13. A timely storm brought a welcome foot of snow a few days before arrival and the skiers enjoyed beautiful spring skiing conditions with sunny skies and warm temperatures in February. PebbleCreek doesn’t have a ski club but many Creekers belong to Valley of the Sun Ski Club which is open to all PC skiers. Meetings are held at the SCW Foundation in the Webb Room, 14465 W. RH Johnson Boulevard in Sun City West, just a short drive from PebbleCreek. Meetings are normally held on the first Thursday of the month although the next meeting will be Wednesday, March 11, since the club will be in Telluride for its third trip of the season during the first week of March.
