PC Singles Club Visits Desert Botanical Garden

Marion Ellison

Members of the PebbleCreek Singles Club toured Dale Chihuly’s beautiful displays of glass-blown art at the Phoenix Desert Botanical Garden and also enjoyed beautiful weather while there.

Dale Chihuly began his career in weaving at the University of Washington. In 1963, he started including shards of glass into his woven tapestry, and this inspired him to start work with blown glass. Today he is known as the most famous master of fine art glass, and he has said that he has never seen a color he didn’t like. His glass exhibit will be at the Desert Botanical Garden through May 2022.
