On the last Thursday of every month, members of the PC Singles can be found enjoying happy hour at one of the local restaurants in and around the community. This month’s chosen restaurant was Manuel’s Mexican restaurant, where fifteen members enjoyed dinner and socializing with fellow club members. This is one of the many monthly activities that members can enjoy if they are interested in doing so. Getting out in a social gathering helps members to meet new people and thereby often helps form many lasting friendships. It is said to be an important factor in aging successfully. The single men and women of PebbleCreek have found this to be true as it leads to a more positive and optimistic outlook on life. The next happy hour is scheduled for Flemings in Glendale, which is always a popular choice.

On Sunday, Oct. 13, members held a potluck and square dance at the Eagle’s Nest Ballroom, which was great fun and well attended. Some other October activities included riverboat bingo and the Amazon Fulfillment Center, as well as pickleball lessons for club members. On the agenda for November is the Litchfield Park Festival of the Arts on Nov. 2, a horseback/chuckwagon cookout on Saturday, Nov. 16, and Thanksgiving dinner at Black Angus on Nov. 28. If you are a single resident of PebbleCreek, now is the time to become a member and join in on the fun.

The PC Singles was formed as a social club (not a dating club), geared toward the growing single population in PebbleCreek. Monthly activities include numerous game nights, bocce ball, bowling, golf, Pictionary, karaoke, social gatherings at the pool, along with special events every month. The club meets on the first Sunday of the month in the Tuscany Ballroom. Registration of new members begins at 2:15 p.m., followed by a general membership meeting at 3 p.m. A social gathering follows at the Long Drive Lounge and then dinner at a local restaurant.
