PebbleCreek members gathered at the Oasis Pool for a social on Oct. 16 to welcome back returning members and new residents for the winter. PebbleCreek Quilters is an organization of over 170 members that meet on the second Monday of the month at 6:30 p.m. for social time and then a meeting at 7 p.m. in the Creative Arts Center. All are welcome to attend. The highlight of the monthly meeting is show and tell time after the meeting. Members share their latest completed projects and pictures of these projects can be found on the website, pebblecreekquilters.org, under photos. The sharing of projects always creates new visions for fellow quilters.
PC Quilters provide many educational opportunities for members to learn new techniques and develop skills. These classes are open to all but are free to members. Membership dues for a year are $25. More information can be found in the Diamondback Room in the Creative Arts Center or contacting information on the website. The group looks forward to a great winter of new classes, community service projects, and social time whether at an organized activity or informally while sewing in the Diamondback/Fiber Arts Room.
