The PebbleCreek Big Band will be appearing live and on stage as they present for your listening pleasure, Burst of Music XII. That’s right, twelve consecutive years of outstanding performances for enthusiastic audiences! And the good news is you can enjoy this concert close to your home at our very own Renaissance Theater. You won’t even have to leave home to purchase tickets as they will be available online (only) beginning Saturday, March 9 at 8:00 a.m. To purchase tickets online go to the HOA website > Things to Do > Ticket Sales > PebbleCreekMusicians Burst of Music XII > Select Date > Select Seats. Ticket prices are the same as last year, $16.50 pp. Visa or MasterCard are accepted.
This year’s performance will be dedicated to the memory of Jerry Layne. Jerry was a long-time PC resident and a nationally known entertainer and ventriloquist. Jerry with his “friends” had been Master of Ceremonies, entertaining Burst of Music audiences for the past nine years.
Under the direction of Bruce Birnel, the Musicians have been hard at work since mid-October as they “tune-up” for this year’s concert. As in former years the concert will include a wide-range of musical numbers from Pop to Latin to Swing, something’s sure to “tickle your fancy”. And as an added bonus the Musicians will be featuring two well-known and admired PebbleCreek soloists, Karen Follett and Barry Jeannelle.
If you’ve never heard a PebbleCreek Big Band Concert before, you are in for a real treat. If you have heard them in the past, you already know what to expect and, believe me, you won’t be disappointed. Your hands will be a-clappin’ and your toes will be a-tappin’ as you listen to those great old tunes from yesteryear.
