The New Life Center is a nonprofit corporation that provides a temporary shelter that is safe and full of caring volunteers to help female victims of domestic violence and their children. Most shelters will not offer services to mothers and their teenage boys, which keeps many victims in their current situation. NLC opens their doors so these families can stay together and be safe. They offer a 120 day program, but the average stay is 45 days leaving with renewed confidence, strength and a job. They even offer bathrooms with showers to help those not living in the shelter. They are celebrating their 25th anniversary! To learn more, check them out online.

The PC Irish American Club has three purposes – education, social and charity. The members are proud to donate $1,500 to this well deserving charity.
