On March 31, 2019, the PebbleCreek HOA website moved to a new location on the internet and transitioned to new software that is part of the Northstar system currently in use for HOA operations and record-keeping.
How do I get on to the new website?
The site is located at https://pebblecreekhoa.org. It is important to use only this address, not any older addresses, or you will get error messages or an incorrect destination. Be sure the “s” is in “https” – it means we have a secure location!
Your login name is your Member number, which is found on your Member card. If you don’t have your Member number, or it doesn’t work, please contact us at [email protected].
Your password for the first time you login is your Member number. After that first login, you will be asked to enter a new password.
If you don’t have a member card or Member number, please contact us at [email protected].
What’s new on the website?
Your login is new — even if you’ve visited the old website hundreds of times, you’ll need to log in to the new site with your Member number. This change allowed us to sync up to the Northstar software that the HOA uses to manage operations at PebbleCreek.
Because we are linked to Northstar, when you have a change in your email or phone number, you can do it yourself from your website profile and you only have to do it once for it to be changed in the HOA records and the website. It used to take two steps to make such a change.
If you have golf winnings, you’ll be able to check them online in the Member Center, the second item on the navigation bar across the top of the website page after you log in.
HOA Dues statements can be seen under HOA Statements – My Account – Member Center. We hope to have payment capabilities soon, but you can see when your payments are received.
If you use your Member card for charging, you’ll be able to check your statement and your recent charges, plus pay your bill by credit card. Please note that there is a 3% fee for using your credit card for payment.
The site uses a technology called responsive design, which means that the site will automatically adjust how it is viewed based on whether you are using a computer, a tablet or a smart phone, making the site more usable when you’re not at your desk.
Documents are located on the pages that they relate to, rather than being bunched together on a Documents page. For instance, the minutes for the ALC are found on the ALC page – much easier!
What’s the same?
Navigation through the site and much of the contents are the same. If you knew how to find something on the old site, you should be able to find it on the new site.
Many of the archives previously on the old site can still be found on the new one. Two years of history, plus the current year in progress, are available for your review.
As a reminder, the ticketing site for the Activities Office concert remains a completely separate website, as it has always been. That ticketing site is located here: tickets.pebblecreekhoa.org.
During this transition, you may find some of the pages (especially the Member Directory) are slow. We are working on that issue. You’ll also find that there are no Unit and Lot designations, another item we are hoping to have implemented. Please be patient as we work on improvements.
You may also find errors or incomplete information. We hope you don’t, but if you do, please let us know at [email protected] and we’ll take care of it.
Is there more?
There will be! Once we have transitioned to the new site, we will begin working on new features with more opportunities for homeowners to make reservations, buy tickets and find information. There is no timeline yet for these enhancements, but we will notify the community when they are available.
What can you expect to see on the new website?
Some things on the website will display differently than they did before, but the way they display is similar to what you may have seen on other modern websites. Documents are in a directory format where clicking on the > symbol on the right of the page will open up a list of documents, for instance. Announcements will often display in pop-up windows, so you may need to disable the pop-up blocker in your web browser to see everything there. If you are unfamiliar with pop-up blockers, when in your browser (Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox, Safari) go to Help, then put “pop-up” in the search
Why did we make this change?
First, we want to take advantage of new functions that are made possible by the Northstar club management software used in the PebbleCreek HOA operations. Second, the software platform for our current website was being phased out and it was necessary to migrate our information before it disappeared.
How do I get help?
