Call to order and introductions by John Kiekbusch/President/PCHOA
Motion by Nancy Wilson Smith to approve the proposed draft of the December 17, 2014, Board of the Directors Meeting, seconded by Gregg Clymer. Unanimously approved.
Motion by Nancy Wilson Smith to appoint Gregg Clymer/Secretary of the PCHOA to Chair the Architectural Landscape Committee, seconded by George Atwell. Unanimously approved.
Bill Barnard/General Manager Report: GM report was presented by Mr. Barnard and will be available for viewing on the PCHOA website pebblecreek.org.>governance>HOA Board. Copies of his report will be available upon request.
Marion Moskal/Finance Operations Manager Report: Finance report will be available upon request and for viewing on the PCHOA website.
Question from resident: Mr. William Korytowski – Why are the dues rising when all these homes are being built that will be paying HOA dues? How much money do we need in our Reserve Fund and what kind of interest is being earned on the funds?
Mr. Moskal answered all the questions asked by Mr. Korytowski. When Mr. Kortowski wanted to continue the questioning Mr. Kiekbusch stated that although he welcomed the questions from Mr. Korytowski he felt this was not the proper forum for an in-depth discussion. He suggested the homeowner meet with Marion Moskal and the Finance Unit on an individual basis so that the Board could proceed with the items on the agenda.
Motion by Nancy Wilson Smith to approve the proposed volunteer additions to the Unit Reps Susan Bergstrom, Unit 41, Hilary Coltman, Unit 8, Sue and Doug Sink, Unit 61, Lynn Oehmann, Unit 2 and Dorothy Kreps for Creative Arts, seconded by Gregg Clymer, unanimously approved.
Motion by Gregg Clymer to approve the proposed By-Laws submitted by the Rules Committee for the new club Ladies Hand and Foot for Fun, seconded by Nancy Wilson Smith. Unanimously approved.
Director Comments:
George Atwell: I would like to thank the staff for a great year. We are like a little city and there is a lot to do. Your F&B staff did a great job at the Chef Gala this year and it was a wonderful event. Thank you Marion Moskal and the Finance Unit for your efforts.
Nancy Wilson Smith: I concur with all of statements made by George. I would also like to thank the homeowner for asking the questions about the budget. This is a healthy discussion and I hope you will get together with Marion Moskal and the Finance Committee to get any other questions answered you might have.
Gregg Clymer: We had a meeting at 9:00 a.m. this morning with all the Committee Chairs that are always open to all residents every month. I encourage you to attend and see just how much work these volunteers do all year. It has been said before but if we could figure out what it would cost if we had to pay these people we would be amazed. Thanks to all who volunteer and give of their time. Say thanks when you see them.
Jack Sarsam: Thank you all for coming. I must assume that since there are only about 15 people here today, something right must be going on here at PebbleCreek.
John Kiekbusch: I would like to thank the Board members who so generously give of their time to keep everything running smoothly. Thank you, Board members.
Motion by Nancy Wilson Smith to adjourn, seconded by Gregg Clymer. Unanimously approved.
Respectfully submitted by: Theresa M. Evans/Administrator to the PCHOA Board of Directors.
