Enthusiastic players appear each Thursday evening at the PC Eagle’s Nest Clubhouse, Palm Room, to play several games of Euchre hoping to be the big winner!
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and Bill Halte will greet you and collect $1 toward prize money as you sign in.
Play begins at 7:00 p.m. sharp when the command, “deal ‘em up” is heard.
July 19 found Alex Potapoff on top with 57 points. George Clark followed with 55 and his wife Barb had the most Lone Hands at three. Bill Todd was content to take home a dollar for his score of 35. Somebody wins and somebody loses.
On July 26 George Clark had a big smile on his face as he picked up his winnings for a score of 52. He did have to split the winnings with Bob Ferro, who also had 52 points. Teresa Funkhauser scored 51 and Alex Elijew and Bill Todd each had two Loners. JoAnn Kolesar was good natured as she collected $1 for a score of 31.
Gil Butson started off the month of August with a win coming in first with 62 points, followed by Dick Stewart who scored 59. Barb Clark and Mary Ann O’Brien split third place scoring 53, and Loners with two went to Teresa Funkhauser. George Clark scored 34 to win low!
On August 8, Alex Elijew won first for 56 points, Bill Forshaw came in second with 53 and his bride, Fay split third with Barb Clark, both had 51 points. Dick Stewart claimed he wasn’t “getting the cards”, but managed to score three Loners! Gil Butson had the honor of low with 37 points.
