Members of the PebbleCreek Democratic Club joined Democrats from across the West Valley to watch both nights of the first Democratic Candidate Debates. The event was held at the Harkins Theater, Estella (as well as at two other Harkins Theatres in the Phoenix area). About 100 folks attended each night and watched the ten candidates per night spar with each other in their responses to questions from five moderators during the two-hour debates. Attendees laughed, clapped and cheered as their favorites made their points. Maricopa County Democratic Party (MCDP) leaders who joined us, including Executive Director Maritza Miranda Saenz and Board Chair Steven Slugocki. Maricopa County Recorder Adriane Fontes and Maricopa County Assessor Candidate Aaron Connor joined us too. For more information about the PC Democratic Club, visit www.pcdemclub.org.
