The Pet Companions Club of PebbleCreek is pleased to have Natalie Widomski as guest speaker at our General Membership Meeting Wednesday, Jan. 10 at 3 p.m. For this meeting only, anticipating higher than normal attendance, we will meet in the Eagle’s Nest Ballroom of the Eagle’s Nest Clubhouse. All PebbleCreek residents, whether club members or not, are invited to attend. There is no charge.
Natalie is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer, and the owner and trainer at Pawsitive K9 Trainers, a Licensed Family Dog Mediator, and a Certified Service Dog Coach.
Natalie says she will be teaching you how to learn who your dog is by using the L.E.G.S. model. Using a science-based model based on applied ethology, Family Dog Mediation is the evolution of dog training. It is the cutting edge model of canine behavior that recognizes the inseparable relationship between animals and humans. She asks the question “Why” before moving on to “How” we can change your dog’s behavior. Captivity and modern conditions interrupt our dog’s natural behavior and welfare, thus causing what we say is bad behavior. Come and learn how to make your life easier and gain a better understanding of who your dog is and how you can provide better animal welfare.
As usual, a box will be provided for pet donations such as: dog beds, pet food (check expiration date), pet collars, leashes, toys, pet medications (check expiration date), etc. Those items not used for our rescues will be donated to other area animal rescue organizations.
