The next meeting of the Men’s Christian Fellowship of Pebble Creek (MCFPC) will be held Wednesday, April 1, at 7:30 a.m. in the Tuscany Falls Chianti Room. The featured speaker is pastor and author Dr. Tom Hufty. The MCFPC is a group of over 130 Christian men that meets the first Wednesday of each month through April and features a wide range of interesting guest speakers with a solid Christian background.

Dr. Hufty has been in ministry for over 50 years and is currently the lead pastor at First Baptist Church, Maryville, Ill. He also serves as the administrator for Maryville Christian School with an enrollment of 750 K-12 students. He is first and foremost a believer in and follower of Jesus Christ and has an unquenchable thirst for God’s Word and a desire to “make Jesus look good” every day and to everyone he meets.

Before serving at First Baptist Maryville, Tom served as Vice President for Collegiate Academic Affairs and Assistant to the President at Hannibal-LaGrange University in Hannibal, Mo., for 13 years. His early years in church ministry were spent serving churches in music, student, and family ministries. Tom earned his undergraduate degree from Hannibal-LaGrange and his Masters of Religious Education, Doctor of Educational Ministry, and Educational Doctorate degrees from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City, Mo. He is a sought-after speaker in the areas of leadership, marriage, parenting, and spiritual growth.
