On Jan. 30, the Lady Niners held the nine-hole Winter Par-Tee event at the Tuscany Falls East golf course. The theme was Go for the Gold USA. Each of the Lady Niners invited a guest to play in the nine-hole event. The format was four-person team/two low net best balls. The event was co-chaired by Debbie Tighe and Sherry Trefz. It included “gold” goody bags with gold, silver, and bronze foil-wrapped candy and a ball marker. Dinner after golf was held in the Tuscany Falls Ballroom.
Winners on the Tuscany Falls East front nine, First place: CarolAnne and Dave Sears, Carla and Thad Woodward. Second place: Betsy and Ardo Rossi, JoEllen and Randy Grauerholz. Third place: Cathy and Lance Dosch, Sally and Jay Ward. Closest to the pin was Thad Woodward.
