Diane Rottman, a member of the PebbleCreek Quilters Club, recently taught a Paper Piecing class. Paper Piecing is a technique used by quilters to easily sew complex designs. The method uses a paper template, folding fabric, sewing on the paper lines, and finishing by tearing off the paper. Paper Piecing is not a new technique. There are examples of this technique dating back to the late eighteenth century. Diane will be teaching a follow-up class that uses Paper Piecing to create a large and very complex Elephant design quilt.
The Paper Piecing class is one of the numerous classes offered by the PebbleCreek Quilters Club.
