Unsure how to vote in this month’s non-partisan election for the Goodyear City Council? City residents have the opportunity to vote for three open council member seats. Goodyear conducts an all mail ballot election and every registered voter in the city should have already received a ballot in the mail. If you haven’t already sent it in and want some help in making your decision, the PebbleCreek Democratic Club is sponsoring an open forum on March 4 at 7:00 p.m. in the Tuscany Ballroom. All of the candidates will be in attendance to present their views and answer questions from the community. These include the three incumbents, Sheri Lauritano, Joanne Osborne and Bill Stipp, as well as two challengers, Robert Garcia and Ray Hadden. This meeting is entirely non-partisan and all residents of PebbleCreek are welcome to attend.
Once you have made your decision on how to mark your ballot, don’t forget to sign the affidavit on the postage prepaid envelope. Ballots must be mailed by March 10 – Election Day. Voted mail ballots in the signed affidavit envelope may also be dropped off in the sealed ballot box at Goodyear City Hall, 190 N. Litchfield Road from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday and on Tuesday, March 10 between 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.
