Thanksgiving is nearing, and it’s that time of year when neighbors help neighbors. Desert Mashie Golf Club will hold its annual St. Mary’s Food Drive throughout the month of November, starting Nov. 1 through Nov. 22. Last year, 1,599 pounds of food was collected, enough to prepare 1,300 meals. These are trying times for families in need; let’s do even better this year.
Please consider donating non-perishable items such as peanut butter, canned protein, canned ravioli, canned fruit, canned vegetables, dry or canned beans, cereal, etc. Food can be dropped off at the Eagle’s Nest Pro Shop from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and at 3716 N 156th Ln, on the Eagle’s Nest side.
