Non-Objective Abstract Painting

Jeff Wilson

The recent Non-Objective Abstract Painting class was a huge success. Even though some participants had never painted anything more than a bedroom wall before, they caught on quickly to the notion that there is no wrong just degrees of success.

Regardless of prior experience creativity was in abundance as students made paintings in several different abstract painting styles including Abstract Expressionism, Colorfield, Overall Pattern and more.

The current abstract class meets on Thursdays in the Gecko Room in the Creative Arts Center from 12:30-3:30. All are welcome to drop in to observe the class in action.

Signups for future abstract painting classes will be in the Expressions Gallery in the Creative Arts Center. The next class will be in June.
